The 17th IHPBA World Congress is the flagship international meeting of the International Hepato-Pancreato-Biliary Association (IHPBA), bringing together leading surgeons, physicians, researchers, trainees, and industry partners from around the world who are dedicated to the treatment and study of liver, pancreas, and biliary diseases.

Held every two years, the congress serves as a global platform for the exchange of the latest scientific discoveries, surgical innovations, clinical practices, and emerging technologies in hepatopancreatobiliary (HPB) care. The program includes keynote lectures, panel discussions, multidisciplinary sessions, abstract presentations, hands-on educational opportunities, and networking events designed to foster collaboration across specialties and regions.

The 2026 edition will take place in Singapore from October 28–31, welcoming an international audience to discuss advances in HPB surgery, oncology, transplantation, minimally invasive techniques, and patient-centered care while promoting education, research, and professional development within the global HPB community.
