Dr. Rawisak Chanwat graduated from Chulalongkorn University, Thailand in 1998 where he also did his residency in General Surgery. In 2011, he did his clinical fellowship of Hepato-Biliary-Pancreatic Surgery at the Institute of Gastroenterology, Tokyo Women’s Medical University in Japan. He serves in numerous medical organizations, including as an executive committee and secretary general of Thai Hepato-Pancreato-Biliary Surgery Society (THPBS), committee member of society of Laparoscopic and Endoscopic Surgeons of Thailand (L.E.S.T.), secretary general of International Association of Surgeons, Gastroenterologists and Oncologists (IASGO) Thailand chapter, executive board member of Mekong Endo-Surgery Development Association (MESDA) and member of the Royal College of Thai Surgeons. Currently, he is the Deputy Director and a HBP surgeon at the National Cancer Institute of Thailand, Bangkok, and a senior consultant at Chulabhorn Cancer Center, Bangkok.
