Prof. Dionigi is Director of the Division for General Surgery and Head of the Endocrine Surgery Section at the Istituto Auxologico Italiano, Ospedale Capitanio (IRCCS), Milan, Italy. Fellow of the European Board of Surgery (F.E.B.S.), Endocrine Surgery. Member of the European Society of Endocrine Surgeons (ESES), European Thyroid Association (ETA), American College of Surgeons (FACS), American Thyroid Association (ATA), International Neural Monitoring Study Group, Chinese Thyroid Association (CTA), Chinese Neural Monitoring Study Group (CNMSG) and the Korean Intraoperative Neural Monitoring Society (KINMoS)
SCIENTIFIC RESEARCH: Thyroid and Parathyroid Surgery, Adrenal Surgery, Intraoperative monitoring of laryngeal nerves, Lymphadenectomy in thyroid carcinoma, Endoscopic thyroidectomy. Dionigi published more than 500 indexed papers, 50 Chapters on Texbook, 35 Guest Editor in Scientific Journals. Dionigi H index is 41, with more than 7500 citations. He is Editor of 10 texbook of general and endocrine surgery surgery. Along with his activities in national and international societies Professor Dionigi has been in charge of several national and international endocrine surgery guidelines.
