Argyrios L. Ioannidis is currently appointed as attending surgeon in the department of General, Laparoscopic, Oncologic and Robotic Surgery, Athens Medical Center, Athens, Greece. He holds a PhD from the National and Kapodistrian University of Athens, School of Medicine. He is particularly interested in minimally invasive surgery and colorectal surgery. He is an alumnus of the Colorectal Surgery Department, Cleveland Clinic Florida, Weston, Florida, USA.
