Jarosław Skokowski, MD, PhD, is a Polish general and oncologic surgeon with nearly four decades of clinical and academic experience. He currently serves as Deputy Head of the Department of General and Oncologic Surgery at St. Adalbert Hospital in Gdańsk and has previously spent more than three decades at the Medical University of Gdańsk and University Clinical Centre.

His clinical and research interests include oncologic and minimally invasive surgery, image-guided surgery, robotic surgery, augmented and mixed reality, and the application of emerging digital technologies in surgical practice and education. He has contributed to international initiatives in spatial computing and remote surgical training, including the development of HoloMedicine® Robotics.

Dr. Skokowski is actively involved in research, surgical education, and international collaboration, with a particular interest in integrating innovative technologies into everyday surgical practice.
