Dr. Iloba Gabriel Njokanma is a Consultant General Surgeon at Lagos State University Teaching Hospital, Lagos, Nigeria. His practice is heavily focused on surgical oncology, particularly colorectal cancer, which constitutes a major component of his clinical and operative workload. He is actively involved in multidisciplinary colorectal cancer care and has a strong interest in colorectal cancer outcomes, minimally invasive surgery, enhanced recovery pathways, and surgical quality improvement. His research interests include colorectal cancer, global surgery, surgical oncology, and implementation of innovative technologies. He is particularly interested in the use of indocyanine green fluorescence imaging to improve precision and outcomes in colorectal surgery in resource-limited settings
